Yes! Paul Tripp Ministries has partnered with Engiven, the #1 donation platform for cryptocurrency donations. You can read more extensive answers to frequently asked questions at PaulTripp.com/Crypto as well as make a safe and secure crypto donation on that site.
In 2014, the IRS ruled that cryptocurrency is treated as property for tax purposes and it is lawful for nonprofits to accept cryptocurrency as a donation. The Engiven Foundation will automatically convert your cryptocurrency donation into USD and send that to PTM (PTM does not hold cryptocurrency). Donors who contribute cryptocurrency will receive an electronic donation receipt (through the Engiven donation platform) in U.S. dollars with comprehensive details about each transaction. Taxpayers will be required to determine the fair market value of virtual currency in U.S. dollars as of the date of donation.
