Sally says,

It was an overcast day in the Fall of 2016. I was sipping iced tea at a café a few hours from home with my best friend Lynn. My husband and I had just incurred a reversal of fortunes—both financial and relational. We were in a tough spot, and it was a scary time for me. I made the long drive, to be encouraged by Lynn. I knew she had wisdom that would help me through this trial. On the table were pens, paper, notebooks, and a copy of New Morning Mercies by Paul David Tripp. I asked my friend, “Who is Paul Tripp?” That simple question began a dynamic change in my life!

When I went back home, I started reading and listening to Paul’s free resources (his weekly Wednesday’s Word and his podcasts). My faith grew as God used Paul’s teaching to reach into the hidden places of my heart—places that I don’t share easily but desperately need the truth of God’s word to heal.

Over the past 6 years Paul’s resources have continued to connect the transforming work of Christ to me in personal ways. I’ve been especially grateful for Paul’s new Connecting Podcast this year. As these fellow believers share their personal stories of God working through their past and present, I realize that I’m not the only one with these “hidden places” where God has brought light and hope. These conversations have encouraged me beyond words!

My husband Charley and I are very grateful for the opportunity to support Paul Tripp Ministries financially. We have been personally blessed by Paul’s work, so we want to be a blessing to him and his team as they continue to develop resources for the body of Christ around the world.
